ShopShare is a utility application designed to help users upload receipts, automatically extract line items using Artificial Intelligence, and easily split expenses among friends. The Service is provided "as is" and relies on third-party cloud infrastructure to function.
To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent behavior.

ShopShare utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AWS Textract and Amazon Bedrock) to extract data from uploaded receipts. While we strive for high accuracy, AI interpretations may sometimes be incorrect. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of all extracted items and final calculated totals before requesting payment from others. ShopShare is not liable for any financial discrepancies or disputes arising from the use of the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShopShare and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.
You may terminate your agreement with us at any time by deleting your account through the App's profile settings and discontinuing use of the Service. We may also suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Service.
